Project: Sales Conference promotions
Client: A large Insurance & Financial Services company
Situation & Solution:
A large national insurance company faced a common dilemma: how to motivate their seasoned sales force to increase production and qualify for an upcoming sales conference. Adding to the challenge was a conference location perceived as dull – Hollywood, FL; a change from the company’s typically more exotic destinations.
To offset qualms about the location, LyonShare developed an educational awareness campaign highlighting area attractions in and around Hollywood, FL as well as the hotel’s striking architecture and many amenities. A HOT and COOL theme was crafted; i.e., the “hot” and trendy location, close to South Beach, and the “cool” activities and amenities qualifiers could look forward to.
The promotional mailings were packaged in a “hot” barbeque mitt and a “cool” drink tumbler to garner additional attention. Initial buzz from the field force was positive, and the HOT and COOL theme gives the company a solid direction for remaining pre- and on-site conference materials.
